SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On the above date and time, the Vermont State Police was dispatched to a report of single vehicle crash at the intersection of Gendron Road and Cross Road in the Town of Jay, VT. The operator, later identified as Amber Brooks, age 54 of Jay, VT, had fled the scene without reporting the crash. Brooks vehicle was found off the side of the road, after having struck and damaged the Gendron Road sign and stop sign.

 

Responding Troopers located Brooks and detected indicators of impairment. Brooks was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and leaving the scene of an accident. Brooks was transported to the Derby barracks for processing and was cited to appear in Orleans Superior Court on 7/1/2025 at 12:30PM to answer to charges of DUI #3 and leaving the scene of an accident.

Vermont State Police responded, and investigation revealed that 19-year-old Aiden Euber had committed the above listed offenses. Euber was arrested and transported to the Westminster Barracks. Euber was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility with bail set in the amount of $5,000. He is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division on 07/1/2025 at 12:30 PM to answer for the above charges.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On the above date and time, Troopers with the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks were on routine patrol when a motor vehicle stop was conducted on VT Rt 14. A passenger in the vehicle was identified as Tina Ashley (43) of Royalton VT. Ashely was found to have an active in-state misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear.  Ashely was taken into custody without incident before being transported to the Royalton Barracks for processing. Ashley was also found to be in possession of prescription medication that belonged to another person. At the conclusion of processing, she was issued a citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court - Criminal Division on 07/01/25 at 1230hrs to answer to a disorderly conduct charge and a citation to appear in Windsor County Superior Court - Criminal Division on 09/02/25 at 0830hrs to answer to the possession charge.

On the above 6-30-25, at approximately 1850, Troopers from the Vermont State Police – Royalton responded to a single motor vehicle crash on School House Road in the town of Brookfield. Upon further investigation, Troopers determined the operator, identified as Ashton Bachand (age 24) of Randolph was under the influence of intoxicants and was operating in a negligent manner. The operator was transported to CVMC for suspected injuries. He was issued a citation to appear in Orange County Criminal Court on 7-16-25 at 0830.
