On 9/21/25 at approximately 1505 hours, Troopers out of the St. Johnsbury Barracks, along with CALEX Ambulance, Barnet Fire/EMS, and Peacham Fire/EMS responded to a dirt bike crash that occurred near Chamberlain Road in Barnet, VT.

 

The operator was identified as Thomas Adamczak. Thomas was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Investigation revealed Thomas was riding on a trail with uneven terrain when he fell off.

 

DHART responded to the area and airlifted Thomas to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center

On 09/14/2025, at approximately 0400 hours, the Vermont State Police dispatch was contacted by the owner of a red 2017 Honda HR-V from the Sweetland Farm in Norwich, advising the vehicle had been stolen and was last seen headed southbound on VT Route 132 in Norwich. Video footage is currently pending at this time. Additionally, the vehicle was believed to have travelled from Norwich, VT into Hanover, NH the morning of the theft. The Vermont State Police is asking anyone with any information related to this theft or the vehicle's whereabouts to contact the Vermont State Police - Royalton Barracks at 802-234-9933.

On September 19, 2025, at approximately 1529 hours, the Vermont State Police conducted a traffic stop after an observed motor vehicle violation on Tyler Bridge Road near the intersection with Gilman Road in the Town of Monkton. The operator was identified as Noah A. Lincoln (35) of South Burlington, Vermont. Investigation revealed Lincoln’s Vermont driver’s license was criminally suspended and Lincoln was required to have an ignition interlock device installed in a motor vehicle in which he was in control of. Lincoln did not have an ignition interlock device installed in the vehicle.

 

Further investigation revealed Lincoln was found to have an active instate warrant for failure to appear stemming from the charge of Vehicle Operation – License Suspended / OSC. Lincoln was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the New Haven State Police Barracks for processing. At the conclusion of processing, Lincoln was transported to the Northwest State Correctional Facility where he was held for lack of $100.00 bail.

The operator was identified as Codey J. Paquin (33) of Ferrisburgh, Vermont. While speaking to Paquin, Troopers observed indicators of impairment; furthermore, Troopers located cocaine that was in Paquin’s possession. Paquin was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI – Drug and transported to the Middlebury Police Department for processing. At the conclusion of processing, Paquin was released with a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division on November 24, 2025, at 1230 hours.

 

On September 19, 2025, Troopers executed a search warrant on the vehicle Paquin was in control of, where additional cocaine was located.

On September 19, 2025 at approximately 2307 hours The Vermont State Police were notified of a call from a resident in Jericho advising an unknown vehicle pulled into his driveway, and the operator appeared to be passed out at the wheel. Troopers responded to the scene with members of the Underhill Jericho Fire Department.

 

While arriving on scene, Troopers were advised the vehicle backed out of the driveway. Troopers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The operator was identified as James Ackerman (64) of Jericho, VT. While speaking with Ackerman, Troopers detected several indicators of impairment. After conducting a roadside investigation, Ackerman was placed under arrest for suspicion of Driving Under the Influence and transported to the Williston State Police Barracks for processing.

 

Ackerman was processed and released with a citation to appear in the Chittenden County Superior Court - Criminal Division on October 9, 2025 at 0830 hours to answer to the charge of DUI #2.

During the altercation, Jeremiah Bindrum recklessly discharged a firearm. SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On September 19, 2025, Troopers from the Vermont State Police – Rutland Barracks were notified of a suspicious incident on Nash Dr in the Town of Wallingford, Vt.

 

Investigation into the incident indicated that Rodney Davis caused serious injury to a family or household member. When attempting to contact Davis, Troopers learned that he was in possession of a firearm and on foot in the forested area to the East of Nash Dr. in the Town of Wallingford.

 

Troopers responded to the area and established telephone communication with Davis, who spoke with police though refused to exit the woods. Contact with Davis ended as it is believed that his cellular phone lost power. Police were unable to reestablish communication with Davis and his current location is unknown. Davis is 5’11” and approximately 185 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes. His current attire is unknown.

 

The Vermont State Police urge anyone with information about the location of Rodny Davis to contact the Rutland State Police Barracks by calling (802) 773-9101.

SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 09/19/2025, at approximately 1345 hours, the Vermont State Police responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and a passenger car on VT-100 at the intersection with Fowler Rd in Whitingham. Both operators sustained injuries and were transported from the scene by EMS for treatment. The extent of their injuries is not available at this time but both operators are in stable condition. This crash is currently under investigation.
