On the above date and time, Troopers with the Vermont State Police responded to the report of a single vehicle crash on Interstate 89 Northbound near Mile Marker 51.2 in the town of Berlin. Further investigation revealed the operator, Niyati Khanduri, was driving down the road and lost control of her vehicle causing her vehicle to slide and roll over onto its driver side. There were no passengers in the vehicle. Khanduri did not show any signs of injury.

Investigation revealed that a 2018 Bighorn 36-foot 5th wheel camper (approximate retail value of $58,000) was stolen from the location at some point during the month of April. SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: ON the above date and time, Vermont State Police were conducting speed enforcement on Vermont Route 279 in the Town of Bennington. State Police observed a vehicle travelling well above the posted speed limit of 55 and confirmed the vehicle's speed at 102 miles per hour.

 

A traffic stop was conducted and the operator of the vehicle was identified as Matthew Ryvkin of Brooklyn, New York. Ryvkin was subsequently issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Bennington Criminal Division on 06/10/2024 at 0815 hours. Ryvkin was also issued a Vermont Civil Violation Complaint for the speed which carries a penalty of $696 and 2 points on his license.

On April 28, 2024, at approximately 1646 hours, Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks were patrolling Lower Pln in Bradford when they came upon a two-vehicle crash. Through the investigation it was learned that Skyler White (19) was operating a Kia Optima and struck the rear of a Mitsubishi Eclipse, being operated by Amy Bresette (53). Bresette was transported by ambulance to DHMC for the treatment of her injuries. Troopers were assisted by members of the Bradford Fire Department and Upper Valley Ambulance.

SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 04/29/2024 at approximately 0531 hours, Vermont State Police received a call of a single vehicle crash with airbag deployment on Vt Route 102 in the Town of Maidstone. Upon arrival I spoke to the operator Dylan Carney from Clarksville, NH. Carney advised he was traveling North on Vt Route 102 from Lancaster when he swerved for a moose in the roadway, lost control of his vehicle, traveled across the southbound lane of travel and came to an uncontrolled point of rest in the southbound ditch. Stratford Fire Department and Groveton EMS assisted with the crash. Carney was transported to Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster to get evaluated for a possible concussion. The vehicle was towed by Caledonia Wrecker Service due to the damage.  The operator was issued a written warning for, Driving on roadways land for traffic, T23 VSA 1038.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On the above date and time, Vermont State Police initiated a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation on Rt. 2 in Danville. While on the stop, Troopers identified the operator as Adam Belliveau (29). While speaking with Adam, Troopers observed several signs of impairment and indicators of drug activity. After further investigation, Adam was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for further processing. Adam was released with a citation to appear in Caledonia Superior Court to answer for the above charge.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On the above date and time, Vermont State Police responded to a residence located in Danville after receiving a report of a possible domestic disturbance. Troopers arrived at the residence and identified Cedric Curley (30) as a person of interest. After further investigation, it was found that Curley caused bodily harm to a household member in front of several juveniles. Curley was placed under arrest without incident and transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for further processing. Curley received conditions of release and was released with a citation to appear in Caledonia Superior Court to answer to the above charge.
