SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 11/6/2026, at approximately 1620 hours, Vermont Troopers were on patrol on US Route 7 near MM 21 in the town of Shaftsbury, VT, when a vehicle was observed travelling southbound at 98 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone. A traffic stop was conducted and the operator was identified as Alejandro Shapiro-Mochon (23). Shapiro-Mochon was taken into custody for processing and released on citation.
