B Troop / DLS Criminal Incidents

NEWS RELEASE – DLS INCIDENTS 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

For the week of Wednesday, July 29, through Tuesday, August 4, 2026, the troopers of B Troop cited the following individuals on suspicion of driving with a criminally suspended license: 

Raymond Burnor, 26, of West Rutland, VT was stopped by Trooper Sean Mulderry on August 2, 2026, at 3:57 PM by the Walgreens in West Rutland. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Rutland County on October 26, 2026.

Lynn Akley, 56, of Vernon, VT was stopped by Trooper Peter Romeo on August 8, 2026, at 11:55 PM on Putney Road in Brattleboro. She is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Windham County on September 22, 2026.

B Troop consists of the Vermont State Police barracks in New Haven, Royalton, Rutland, Shaftsbury, and Westminster.
