SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On the above date and time, Troopers from the Vermont State Police – Rutland Barracks, responded to a domestic disturbance in the Town of Danby. Through investigation, it was determined Ryan Battease, caused pain/fear and/or bodily injury to a family or household member. Battease was placed under arrest and transported to the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks for processing. Battease was lodged at Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility on $1,000 bail and cited to appear at Rutland Superior Court – Criminal Division on 01/12/2026 at 12:30 PM to answer to the above charge.
