NEWS RELEASE – DLS INCIDENTS

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

For the week of Wednesday, September 3, 2025 through Tuesday, September 9, 2025, the troopers of B Troop cited the following individuals on suspicion of driving with a criminally suspended license:

 

Michael Hamilton, 34, of Pownal, VT was stopped by Trooper Kyle Stevens on September 8, 2025 at 10:46 PM on US Route 7 near VT Route 346. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Bennington County on October 27, 2025.


Jeffrey Wilcox, 43, of Bennington, VT was stopped by Trooper Colin Shepley on Water Street near Prospect Street in North Bennington on September 9, 2025 at 1:34 PM. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Bennington County on October 27, 2025.


B Troop consists of the Vermont State Police barracks in New Haven, Royalton, Rutland, Shaftsbury, and Westminster.
