On the above date and time Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks were on a routine patrol in the Town of Danville, VT when they observed a motorist commit multiple motor vehicle violations. Troopers conducted a traffic stop and identified the operator as Dwayne Somers (69) of St. Johnsbury, VT. While speaking with Somers, indicators of impairment were detected. Somers was arrested for suspicion of DUI and then transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing. Somers was issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court - Criminal Division on 08/18/2025 at 0830 hours.
