NEWS RELEASE – DLS INCIDENTS

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

For the week of Wednesday, May 14, 2025 through Tuesday, May 20, 2025, the troopers of B Troop cited the following individuals on suspicion of driving with a criminally suspended license:

 

Lawrence Irish, Jr, 52, of Randolph, was stopped on May 21, 2025, at 9:41 PM, by Trooper Daniel Arrato on VT Route 12 near Windover Road in Randolph. Irish was issued a citation to appear at the Superior Court of Orange County on July 2, 2025.

 

Steven Knowles, 60, of Barnard VT was stopped on May 23, 2025, at 10:40 AM on VT Rt 107 in Royalton by Trooper Jacob Clark. He was cited to appear at the Superior Court of Windsor County on June 17, 2025. 

 

Sarah Meier, 56, of Essex Junction, VT was stopped by Trooper Andrew Kelly-Jacobs on Interstate 91 South at mile marker 27 in Westminster on May 23, 2025, at 7:35 PM. She is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Windham County on June 17, 2025.

 

 

B Troop consists of the Vermont State Police barracks in New Haven, Royalton, Rutland, Shaftsbury, and Westminster.
