On November 2, 2026, at approximately 0025 hours, Vermont State Police troopers were conducting a traffic stop on VT Route 15 near Browns River Road in Essex when a female juvenile, who was familiar with the operator of the stopped vehicle, arrived on scene in a white truck. While speaking with troopers, the juvenile exhibited indicators of impairment and admitted to consuming alcohol.
The juvenile operator was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Vermont State Police Williston Barracks for DUI processing. The juvenile was later released with a citation to appear in Family Court to answer to the charge of DUI #1.
