OF INCIDENT:
On
October 28, 2026, at approximately 2254 hours, Vermont State Police conducted a
traffic stop on Interstate 89 southbound at mile marker 100.8 in Milton for a
vehicle traveling 94 mph in a posted 65 mph zone. The operator was identified
as Damien M. Patterson (22) of St. Albans. While speaking with Patterson,
troopers observed indicators of impairment.
Patterson
was subsequently arrested on suspicion of DUI and transported to the Vermont
State Police Williston Barracks for DUI processing. He was later released with
a citation to appear at the Chittenden County Superior Court on November 19,
2026, at 0830 hours to answer to the charge of DUI.
