SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 10/03/2026, at approximately 1253 hours, Vermont State Police- Westminster Barracks were notified of a vehicle operating erratically on Briggs Road in the town of Guilford, Windham County, Vermont. Troopers located the vehicle on Carpenter Hill Road and initiated a traffic stop for multiple equipment violations. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Evan Bratton, 23, of Guilford, Vermont. While interacting with Bratton, Troopers detected indicators of impairment. Bratton was subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Westminster State Police Barracks for processing. Bratton was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division on 10/20/2026 at 0830 hours to answer to the aforementioned charges.
