SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 10/2/2026, at approximately 1120 hours, the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks received multiple reports of Spencer Bence (42) to be in violation of an abuse prevention order in the Town of Braintree, VT. Troopers from the Royalton Barracks responded to the scene. Upon further investigation it was discovered that Bence had violated an abuse prevention order multiple times. Bence was taken into custody, transported to the Royalton Barracks, and held on 10,000 dollars bail with a citation to appear in Orange County Criminal Court on 10/5/2026 at 1230 hours.
