SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On the above date and time Troopers
from the Vermont State Police observed a vehicle traveling well above the
posted speed limit of 65mph. RADAR confirmed the speed to be 106mph. Troopers
initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the operator who was identified
as Mahfar. Mahfar was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State
Police Barracks for processing. Mahfar was later released on a citation.
Mahfar was also issued a Vermont Civil Violation Complaint
with a waiver amount of $613 and 2-points.
