SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On October 4th, 2026, at approximately 2033 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police – St. Albans Barracks were dispatched to the report of a multi-vehicle crash on Main Street in the Town of Montgomery. Troopers responded to the scene and located a 2018 Subaru Forester that had struck multiple parked vehicles, causing a totaling amount of damage to the vehicle.

 

Preliminary investigation established that the operator of the 2018 Subaru Forester was Susan McGovern (73) of Montgomery, VT. McGovern was transported to Northwest Medical Center in the Town of St. Albans for suspected minor injuries as a result of the crash. The vehicle was towed away from the scene due to a disabling amount of damage.

 

The Vermont State Police was assisted at the scene of the crash by Larose’s Towing, Richford Ambulance, Enosburg Ambulance, Montgomery Rescue and Montgomery Fire Department.
