SUMMARY OF CRASH:
On 10/02/2026, at approximately 1527 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police – Rutland Barracks were notified of a one car crash on VT Route 30 in Hubbardton, VT.
Through investigation it was determined Operator #1 (Suddaby) was operating vehicle #1, traveling north on VT Route 30. Operator #1 exited her lane of travel and come to a position of uncontrolled rest against a tree. Vehicle #1 sustained moderate front end damage from colliding with the tree. VT Route 30 was limited to one lane of traffic while responders worked to have the operator removed from her vehicle and was closed while responders worked to have the vehicle removed.
The Vermont State Police were assisted on scene by Castleton Fire Department, Castleton Police Department, Granville Rescue Squad, and Carrara’s Towing.
