SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 10/25/2026 at approximately 1443 hours, Troopers received a report of an erratic driver on US Route 7 in the Town of Ferrisburgh. Troopers located and stopped the vehicle near the intersection of VT Route 22A. The operator was identified as Haylei Lawrence (20) of Jeffersonville, VT. While speaking with Lawrence, Troopers detected indicators of impairment.
Lawrence was screened, placed under arrest, and transported to the Vergennes Police Department for processing. During processing, Lawrence refused to provide an evidentiary breath test. At the conclusion of processing, Lawrence was released with a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division at a later date.
