On September 28, 2026, the Vermont State Police was notified that Michael D. Barrieau (69) had violated an active trespass order. Video footage presented by Christan E. Frenke (51) showed Barrieau entering his property on September 26th, 2026. Barrieau was issued a criminal citation to appear in the Vermont Superior Court – Bennington Criminal Division on November 30th, 2026, at 0830 hours.
