SUMMARY OF CRASH:
On September 30, 2026, at approximately 0120 hours, Trooper
Maldonado was traveling south on I89 approaching exit 7. Tpr. Maldonado
informed me that while driving he struck a deer that was in the roadway. I
responded to the scene and there was minor damage to the front of the cruiser
and the deer was deceased on the side of the road. There were no injuries or
hazards that resulted from this crash. The vehicle was operable and able to be
driven away from the crash.
