SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On June 17th, 2026, at approximately 1448 hours,
Troopers from the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks were advised of
an altercation on Hutchins Farm Road in the town of Stannard, Vermont. The
investigation determined that Malik Newman-Shadley (21) of Stannard, Vermont
caused pain to a family or household member. Newman-Shadley was located on
6/18/2026, placed under arrest, and transported to the Vermont State Police St.
Johnsbury Barracks. Newman-Shadley was processed and released on a criminal citation
to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division on 6/22/2026
at 1230 hours.
