VIOLATION(S):  Arrest on Warrant for the following charge(s):

  1. Disorderly Conduct – Fight ETC

 

ACCUSED:  Garth Nairne       

AGE:  21

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE:  Hartford, CT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 01/28/2026, at approximately 2352 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police - St. Johnsbury Barracks were on patrol in the area of Railroad St, in Saint Johnsbury, VT, when they observed a motor vehicle violation and initiated a traffic stop. Troopers learned a passenger identified as Garth Nairne (21) of Hartford, CT was known to have an outstanding warrant. Further revealed Nairne was wanted for the original charge(s) of Disorderly Conduct – Fight ETC.

 

Upon successful identification of Nairne and confirmation of the warrant, he was subsequently taken into custody. Nairne was transported to the Vermont State Police – St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing. He was cited to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court on 01/29/2026 at 1230 hours. He was then transported to Northeast Correctional Complex, where he was held on $200 bail for the outstanding warrant.
