B Troop / DLS Criminal Incidents

NEWS RELEASE – DLS INCIDENTS 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

For the week of Wednesday, January 21,2026 through Tuesday, January 27, 2026, the troopers of B Troop cited the following individuals on suspicion of driving with a criminally suspended license: 

Richard Tripaldi,46, of Westminster, VT was stopped by Trooper Michael Maldonado on January 22, 2026, at 4:34 PM on Interstate 91 by Exit 4 Northbound. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Windham County on February 17, 2026.

B Troop consists of the Vermont State Police barracks in New Haven, Royalton, Rutland, Shaftsbury, and Westminster.
