NEWS RELEASE – DLS INCIDENTS

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

For the week of Wednesday, August 20, 2025 through Tuesday, August 26, 2025, the troopers of B Troop cited the following individuals on suspicion of driving with a criminally suspended license:

 

Ashley Bletz, 32, of Rutland City, VT was stopped by Sergeant Blake Cushing on Boardman Hill in West Rutland on August 20.  She is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Rutland County on October 13, 2025.

 

Joseph Ribeiro, 35, of Enfield, NH was stopped by Trooper Michael Robidoux on Interstate 89 South in Randolph on August 23.  He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Orange County on September 17, 2025.

 

B Troop consists of the Vermont State Police barracks in New Haven, Royalton, Rutland, Shaftsbury, and Westminster.
