SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On the above date and time, Troopers from the Vermont State Police - Williston Barracks responded to the report of a 3-car crash that had occurred on I-189 near the intersection with Shelburne Rd in South Burlington. Complainants reported that the operator that had caused the crash fled the scene. The operator was held by witnesses until troopers arrived on scene Following an investigation, Troopers determined Jefferson R. Quinaloa, age 18, of Brockton, MA was driving on I-189, struck multiple vehicles, and fled the scene.

 

Further investigation determined Quinaloa had operated a motor vehicle while impaired and was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and Leaving the Scene of an Accident, transported to the Williston Barracks for processing, and released with a criminal citation to appear in Chittenden County Superior (Criminal) Division at the below date/time.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

At about 6 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29, 2025, the Vermont State Police executed a search warrant on a residence at 160 Moses Lane in Royalton, VT. State police were assisted by the Royalton Police Department and South Royalton Rescue. During this incident, police encountered and detained 18 individuals; ultimately police made six total arrests for multiple offenses, as specified above. Police located a felony amount of cocaine, firearms and ammunition during the search.

 

Four of the six individuals facing charges were jailed pending arraignments scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025. The other two were released on citations for future court dates.

 

This investigation remains active and ongoing, and additional charges are currently pending. No further information is available at this time.

SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 08/31/2025 at approximately 1320 hours, Troopers with the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks were notified of a single vehicle crash on Vt Route 100 in the town of Granville, Addison County, Vermont. Upon Troopers arrival on scene, investigation determined that Sabrina Leclerc (age 27) was operating a 2004 Toyota Sienna traveling southbound on Vt Route 100 when she failed to maintain her lane of travel, causing the vehicle to strike the guardrail. After the collision occurred, Leclerc was ejected onto the pavement. Leclerc was transported by White River Valley Ambulance to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. The passenger, Richard Gaboury (age 35) sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash and declined to be transported to the hospital. Troopers were assisted on scene by the Granville Fire Department, White River Valley Ambulance, and Killington Towing.

SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On August 31, 2025, at approximately 05:45, Troopers from the Vermont State Police – Williston Barracks were notified of a single vehicle crash on Route 15 near Richie's Lane in the town of Cambridge. Operator #1 Pease (48) was traveling northbound on Route 15 towards Johnson, where the operator crashed and ended up in a homeowner's ditch. The investigation revealed, while traveling northbound on Route 15, Pease veered off the road and bounce off a boulder on a homeowner's culvert striking the right side of his vehicle. As result brought his vehicle to an uncontrolled rest in the ditch facing south.  Pease was transported to UVMC for minor, non-life-threatening injuries.

 

Troopers were assisted on scene by Cambridge Fire Department and Fire Rescue, and Stones Garage.

On the above date and time, Troopers from the Vermont State Police responded to a report of a wrong-way driver traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of Interstate 89 near mile marker 66.2 in the town of Waterbury. The vehicle was safely stopped near mile marker 59.8 in the northbound lane by the Berlin Police Department. The operator was identified as Ashton Davis (24) of Winooski, Vermont. While speaking with Davis, Troopers observed signs of impairment. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing. Davis was later released with a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court – Criminal Division on September 18, 2025, at 08:30 hours, to answer to the above charges.

 

The Vermont State Police were assisted at the scene by the Berlin Police Department and Montpelier Police Department.
