NEWS RELEASE – DLS INCIDENTS

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

For the week of Wednesday, July 2, 2025 through Tuesday, July 8, 2025, the troopers of B Troop cited the following individuals on suspicion of driving with a criminally suspended license:

 

Nathan Redmond, 40, of Vergennes, VT was stopped by Trooper Joshua Gurwicz on July 4, 2025 at 5:34 PM, on U.S. Route 7 in Middlebury. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Addison County on September 8, 2025.


Kevin O'Day, 53, of Brattleboro, VT was stopped by Trooper Michael Maldonado on Canal Street in Brattleboro on July 5, 2025 at 5:21 PM. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Windham County on August 5, 2025. 

Thomas Steele, 46, of Chester, VT was stopped by Trooper Michael Maldonado on VT Route 11 and Church Street in Chester on July 7, 2025 at 9:43 AM. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Windsor County on August 19, 2025. 

Christopher Canavan, 40, of Castleton, VT was stopped by Trooper Ryan Gardner on US Route 4 at US Route 7 in Rutland Town on July 7, 2025 at 5:04 PM. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Rutland County on September 29, 2025. 

 

B Troop consists of the Vermont State Police barracks in New Haven, Royalton, Rutland, Shaftsbury, and Westminster.
