NEWS RELEASE – DLS INCIDENTS

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

For the week of Wednesday, January 15, 2025 through Tuesday, January 21, 2025, the troopers of B Troop cited the following individuals on suspicion of driving with a criminally suspended license:

 

Ronald Real Jr., 51, of Orwell, VT was stopped by Trooper Josh Gurwicz at 4:42 pm on January 16, 2025, on Mt. Philo Road in the vicinity of Old Hollow Road in the Town of Ferrisburgh. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Addison County on February 24, 2025.

 

Luis Sotero, 30, of Bridport, VT was stopped by Trooper Gabriel Schrauf at 6:40 pm on January 18, 2025, on VT Route 22A and Wilmarth Road in Bridport. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Addison County on March 5, 2025.

 

Brandan Layton, 28, of Clarendon, VT was stopped by Corporal Mark Busier on January 19, 2025, at 8:53 am on Middle Road in Clarendon. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Rutland County on March 17, 2025.

 

Jessica Perry, 41, of Fair Haven, VT was stopped by Trooper Nathaniel Nevison at 5:53 pm on January 21, 2025, on River St by Dorr Drive in Rutland City. She is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Rutland County on February 24, 2025.

 

 

B Troop consists of the Vermont State Police barracks in New Haven, Royalton, Rutland, Shaftsbury, and Westminster.
