INCIDENT LOCATION: Gage Road in the Town of Bethel, the Town of Randolph, and the Town of Braintree VT

VIOLATION: Aggravated Operation Without Owner's Consent, Eluding a Police Officer (x2), Gross Negligent Operation (x2), Reckless Endangerment (x2), and Possession of Stolen Property

 

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On April 29th a resident on Gage Road in the Town of Bethel notified the Vermont State Police that his vehicle was stolen from his residence. The resident identified his vehicle as a Black GMC Sierra bearing VT TRK REG: 126A490.  On April 30th, the owner of the vehicle was notified by multiple people that Branden J. Messier (DOB: 08/24/1992) stole his truck. In addition, VSP Royalton Troopers located the vehicle at a residence in the Town of Randolph. Branden fled in the truck from the Troopers into downtown Randolph onto the railroad tracks. Later, a citizen reported that the vehicle was seen at an abandoned property in the Town of Braintree. Troopers went to the residence and located the vehicle. The vehicle eluded Troopers again. VSP Royalton is looking for information on the location of Branden J. Messier and the vehicle.
