SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On November 7th, 2026, at approximately 1005 hours, Vermont State Police received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the vicinity of Route 105 by Viens Rd in the town of Swanton. The operator and sole occupant of the vehicle was identified as Jesse Wells (46) of St. Albans. While speaking with Wells, indicators of drug impairment were observed. Wells was subsequently placed into custody for suspicion of DUI and transported to the St. Albans State Police Barracks for processing.
Wells was later released and issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court for the offense of DUI Drugs.
