SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 11/4/2026, at approximately 0003 hours, the Vermont State Police was notified of an assault on Interstate 89 in the town of Royalton, VT. During the investigation, the passenger, Kevin Patenaude (49) of Hudson, NH showed signs of impairment. Patenaude was arrested on multiple charges and transported to the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks for processing. He was later released to a sober party with a citation to appear at the Windsor County Superior Court on 1/5/2027, at 0815 hours to answer to the charges.
