ACCUSED: Paul Wadsager                                              

AGE: 32

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Barre, VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On October 4th, 2026 at approximately 2235 hours Troopers with VSP Williston were notified of a single vehicle crash in the area of 837 East Main Street in the town of Richmond.

 

Responding Troopers met with the operator and sole occupant of the vehicle at the scene of the crash. He was identified as Paul Wadsager (age 32) of Barre, VT. He was transported by Richmond Rescue to UVM Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained as a result of the crash.

 

Troopers responded to UVMMC and conducted a DUI investigation, at the conclusion of which Wadsager was issued a criminal citation to appear before Chittenden County Superior Court at a later date and time to answer to the charge of DUI #1. Wadsager was subsequently released into the continued care of UVMMC.
