SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 09/23/26 at approximately 2000 hours, the Vermont State
Police-Shaftsbury Barracks was notified of a violation of conditions of
release. It was reported that Mercedes M. Harris (33) of Shaftsbury, VT,
violated her conditions of release by contacting a protected person.
Through investigation, it was determined that Harris
violated her conditions of release. Harris was cited to appear at Vermont
Superior Court – Bennington Criminal Division on November 9, 2026, at 08:30 AM.
