SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 10/01/2026, at approximately 1303 hours, Troopers from
the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks were advised of a domestic
altercation in the Town of Rochester, Vermont. The investigation determined
that Jonathan Livesey (56) of Rochester, Vermont had assaulted and caused pain
to a family or household member. It was also determined that during the
altercation, Livesey had interfered with the victims attempt to contact
emergency services and that he had damaged property that belonged to the
victim. Livesey was placed under arrest and transported to the Vermont State
Police Royalton Barracks. Livesey was processed and issued a criminal citation
to appear in Windsor County Superior Court- Criminal Division on 10/02/2026 at
1230 hours.
