SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 10/05/2026, at approximately 0834 hours, Troopers responded to a disturbance on VT Route 110 in the Town of Washington. Investigation revealed David Henault Jr., 23, of Washington violated his court ordered conditions of release by entering the residence. While inside the residence, Henault Jr. placed Ronald Collins, 39, of Washington in fear of bodily injury.

 

Troopers were initially unable to locate Henault Jr., however, Henault Jr. ultimately turned himself in at the Orange County Courthouse in Chelsea, VT.

 

Henault was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police - Berlin Barracks for processing. Henault was issued a citation scheduled to appear in Orange County Superior Court – Criminal Division on 10/21/2026 at 0830 for the above charges.
