On October 24th, 2026, at approximately 18:20
hours, Trooper Charney was traveling on East Montpelier Rd in the town of
Montpelier. I was notified by Tpr. Charney that while driving, a deer ran out
in front of him, and he was unable to avoid it. There were no injuries or
hazards that resulted from this crash. The vehicle was operable and able to be
driven away from the crash.
