SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On September 5th, 2026, at approximately 2308 hours, the Vermont State Police conducted a traffic stop after observing motor vehicle violations at the intersection of VT Route 116 and Burpee Road in the Town of Bristol. The operator was identified as Isaiah Taylor (26) of Lincoln, Vermont. While speaking to Taylor, Troopers observed indicators of impairment.

 

Taylor was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Middlebury Police Department for processing. At the conclusion of processing, Taylor was released with a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division on November 16th, 2026, at 1230 hours to answer to the charge of DUI – Drug #1.

 

Troopers were assisted by members of the Middlebury Police Department.
