NEWS RELEASE – DLS INCIDENTS 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

For the week of Wednesday, August 5, through Tuesday, August 11, 2026, the troopers of B Troop cited the following individuals on suspicion of driving with a criminally suspended license: 

David N. Bratianu, Jr., 43, of Williamstown, VT was stopped by Trooper Daniel Arrato on August 11, 2026, at 5:20 PM on Interstate 89 at mile marker 31 in Randolph. He was cited to appear at the Superior Court of Orange County on September 30, 2026.

Eric Shaw, 50, of Hancock, VT was stopped by Trooper Trinity Poole on VT Route 125 in Hancock on August 11, 2026, at 2:30 PM. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Addison County on October 19, 2026.

Abigail Baker, 32, of Brattleboro, VT was stopped by Trooper Peter Romeo on Broad Brook Road in Guilford on August 8, 2026, at 3:23 PM. She is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Windham County on September 29, 2026.

Abigail Baker, 32, of Brattleboro, VT was stopped by Trooper Peter Romeo on Putney Road in Brattleboro on August 8, 2026, at 7:33 PM. She is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Windham County on September 29, 2026.

B Troop consists of the Vermont State Police barracks in New Haven, Royalton, Rutland, Shaftsbury, and Westminster.
