B Troop / DLS Criminal Incidents

NEWS RELEASE – DLS INCIDENTS 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

For the week of Wednesday, August 12, through Tuesday, August 18, 2026, the troopers of B Troop cited the following individuals on suspicion of driving with a criminally suspended license: 

William O. Wright, 42, of Addison, VT, was stopped by Trooper Taylor Demick on Route 66 in the Town of Waltham on August 17th, 2026, at 4:27 PM. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Addison County on October 12th, 2026.

 

Scott C. Blaise, 54, of New Haven, VT was stopped by Trooper Jonathan Raymond on Plank Road in Ferrisburgh on August 15th, 2026, at 9:19 PM. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Addison County on October 12th, 2026.

B Troop consists of the Vermont State Police barracks in New Haven, Royalton, Rutland, Shaftsbury, and Westminster.
