NEWS RELEASE – DLS INCIDENTS 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

For the week of Wednesday, June 10, 2026, through Tuesday, June 16, 2026, the troopers of B Troop cited the following individuals on suspicion of driving with a criminally suspended license: 

Christopher Helmer, 44, of Burlington, VT was stopped by Sergeant Sean Hauter on VT Route 22A in Panton on June 12, 2026, at 3:46 PM. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Addison County on August 3, 2026.

Cooper Irish, 22, of Randolph, VT was stopped by Trooper Evan Wilkinson on Interstate 89 at mile marker 5.6 on June 16, 2026, at 3:57 PM. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Windsor County on August 11, 2026.

Donald Wood, 62, of Bennington, VT was stopped by Trooper Benjamin Prandini on US Route 7 in Bennington on June 12, 2026, at 10:12 PM. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Bennington County on July 27, 2026.

Raymond Burnor, 26, of Danby, VT was stopped by Trooper Sean Mulderry on June 10, 2026, at 9:43 AM on US Route 4 in Castleton. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Rutland County on August 3, 2026.

Sarah Sciortino, 25, of Burlington, VT was stopped by Trooper Sean Mulderry on June 12, 2026, at 8:29 AM on US Route 4 in West Rutland. She is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Rutland County on August 3, 2026.

Cody Kinney, 35, of Claremont, NH crashed a vehicle on Hawk Pine Road in Norwich on June 13, 2026, at 10:10 AM. He is cited by Trooper Michael Robidoux to appear at the Superior Court of Windsor County on July 7, 2026.

B Troop consists of the Vermont State Police barracks in New Haven, Royalton, Rutland, Shaftsbury, and Westminster.
