B Troop / DLS Criminal Incidents

NEWS RELEASE – DLS INCIDENTS 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

For the week of Wednesday, April 8, 2026, through Tuesday, April 14, 2026, the troopers of B Troop cited the following individuals on suspicion of driving with a criminally suspended license: 

 

Caroline Arpe, 49, of Brattleboro Vermont was stopped by Trooper Zachary Kunow on I-91 in Guilford on April 12, 2026.  Arpe is cited to appear at the Superior Court Windham of Windham County on May 26, 2026.

 

Jacob Ackert, 22, of Rutland City Vermont was stopped by Trooper Bruce Cleaver on US Route 4 in Castleton on April 14, 2026.  Ackert is cited to appear at the Superior Court Rutland County on June 1, 2026.

 

Tanya Fisher, 40, of Westminster Vermont was stopped by Trooper Zachary Kunow on I-91 in Westminster on April 14, 2026.  Fisher is cited to appear at the Superior Court Windham County on June 6, 2026.

 

B Troop consists of the Vermont State Police barracks in New Haven, Royalton, Rutland, Shaftsbury, and Westminster.
