B Troop / DLS Criminal Incidents

NEWS RELEASE – DLS INCIDENTS 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

For the week of Wednesday, April 1, 2026, through Tuesday, April 7, 2026, the troopers of B Troop cited the following individuals on suspicion of driving with a criminally suspended license: 

Megan Smith, 57, of Weybridge, Vermont was stopped by Trooper Jonathan Prack on Boardman Street in Middlebury on April 4, 2026, at 11:13 PM. She is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Addison County on April 20, 2026.

On April 7th, 2026, at approximately 1643 hours, Trooper Michael Robidoux was advised of a citizen dispute on White Brook Rd, Sharon, Vermont. During the dispute, Matthew Tobin (age 46) was operating a motor vehicle with a criminally suspended license. Tobin was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Windsor Criminal Division on 05/12/2026.

B Troop consists of the Vermont State Police barracks in New Haven, Royalton, Rutland, Shaftsbury, and Westminster.
