NEWS RELEASE – DLS INCIDENTS

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

For the week of Wednesday, April 16, 2025 through Tuesday, April 23, 2025, the troopers of B Troop cited the following individuals on suspicion of driving with a criminally suspended license:

 

Douglas Sargent, 55, of Rutland, VT was stopped by Trooper Zachariah Shaughnessy on Crescent Street at South Main Street in Rutland City on April 20, 2025, at 12:06 am. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Rutland County on June 2, 2025.

 

 

B Troop consists of the Vermont State Police barracks in New Haven, Royalton, Rutland, Shaftsbury, and Westminster.
