SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 03/02/2025 at approximately 18:29 hours, Troopers of the VSP Royalton Barracks were dispatched to a report of a crash near Blackhawk Rd and Stender Rd in Chelsea. Troopers observed signs of impairment on operator Shawn Mailyn after confirming that he operated a motor vehicle on a public roadway. Probable cause was found for the offense of DUI and Mailyn was arrested without incident. Mailyn was processed at the Hartford Police Department and released with a citation.
