SUMMARY OF CRASH: On December 23, 2024, at approximately 1650 hours, Troopers assigned to the Williston Barracks responded to the area of VT Route 15 and Mansfield Ave in the Town of Cambridge for a report of a two-car motor vehicle collision. Subsequent investigation revealed that the operator of vehicle #1, identified as Noah Bocash (27) of Johnson, VT, was travelling in excess of the posted speed limit on VT Route 15 when he encountered slowed/stopped traffic. Bocash then rear-ended vehicle #2 operated by Sheldon Leland (32) of Orleans, VT.

Bocash was issued a Vermont Civil Violation Complaint pursuant to Title 23 VSA 1039 (Following Too Closely-Accident Resulting) which carries a waiver penalty of $220 and 4 points.
