NEWS RELEASE – DLS INCIDENTS

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

For the weeks of Wednesday, September 4, 2024 through Tuesday, September 10, 2024, the troopers of B Troop cited the following individuals on suspicion of driving with a criminally suspended license:

 

Kevin Sawyer, 46, of Royalton, VT was stopped by Sgt. Austin Soule on September 10, 2024, at approximately 2147 hours on Route 14 in Royalton. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Windsor County on November 5, 2024.

 

Megan Richards, 25, of Arlington, VT was stopped by Trooper Benjamin Irwin on September 8, 2024, at 08:55 on VT Route 7A and VT Route 313 in Arlington. She is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Bennington County on November 4, 2024.

 

 

B Troop consists of the Vermont State Police barracks in New Haven, Royalton, Rutland, Shaftsbury, and Westminster.
