NEWS RELEASE – DLS INCIDENTS

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

For the weeks of Wednesday, June 5, 2024 through Tuesday, June 18, 2024, the troopers of B Troop cited the following individuals on suspicion of driving with a criminally suspended license:

 

Donald Douglas, 59, of Colchester, VT was stopped by Corporal Justin Busby on US Route 7 and Dog Team Rd in New Haven on June 5, 2024, at 09:19. He is cited to appear at the Addison County Superior Court on August 26, 2024.

 

Logan Lewis, 23, of Leicester, VT was stopped by Trooper Eric Acevedo on June 11, 2024, at 10;37 on Interstate 91 in Guilford. He is cited to appear on July 16, 2024, at the Windham County Superior Court.

 

Cameron Johnson, 27, of Vernon, VT was stopped by Trooper James Guillaume on US Route 5 and East Putney Falls Rd in Putney on June 13, 2024, at 00:13. He is cited to appear at the Windham County Superior Court on July 30, 2024.

 

Stephen Mecheski, 20, of Putney, VT was stopped by Trooper Peter Romeo on Putney Rd in Brattleboro at 10:39 on June 13, 2024. He is cited to appear at the Windham County Superior Court on July 30, 2024.

 

Jeffrey VanBuren, 61, of Brandon, VT was stopped by Trooper Eric Jakubowski on June 17, 2024, at 17:31, on VT Route 103 and East Clarendon Rd in Clarendon. He is cited to appear at the Rutland County Superior Court on August 12, 2024.

 

 

B Troop consists of the Vermont State Police barracks in New Haven, Royalton, Rutland, Shaftsbury, and Westminster.
