SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 10/09/2026 at 10:13 pm, the Vermont State Police received
a report that Joshua M. Jones (30), of Wardsboro, VT was actively violating his
conditions of release at a residence located on Townshend Dam Road in Wardsboro
(Windham County), VT. Troopers from the Westminster Barracks
responded and at the conclusion of the investigation, Jones was taken into
custody.
Jones was arrested for violation of conditions of release
and transported to the Vermont State Police Barracks in Westminster for
processing.
Jones was issued a criminal citation and is scheduled to
appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on October 13,
2026, at 1230 hours to answer for the above charge. Jones was transported to
Southern State Correctional Facility where he was held on $500.00 bail.
