B Troop / DLS Criminal Incidents

NEWS RELEASE – DLS INCIDENTS 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

For the week of Wednesday, July 15, through Tuesday, July 21, 2026, the troopers of B Troop cited the following individuals on suspicion of driving with a criminally suspended license: 

Michael Greene, 39, of West Rutland, VT was stopped by Trooper Eric Jakubowski on July 15, 2026, at 1:49 PM on US Route 7 in Clarendon. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Rutland County on August 31, 2026.

Jacob Lyon, 27, of Vernon, VT was stopped on Interstate 91 at mile marker 26 in Westminster on July 21, 2026, at 4:18 PM by Trooper James Guillaume. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Windham County on September 29, 2026.

B Troop consists of the Vermont State Police barracks in New Haven, Royalton, Rutland, Shaftsbury, and Westminster.
