SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 12/12/2024, at approximately 0840 hours, Vermont State Police – Westminster Barracks responded to a single-vehicle roll over crash on Coolidge Highway/US-5, in the town of Guilford, Vermont. The operator and sole occupant of the vehicle was identified as Richard G. Spencer, 69, of Guilford, Vermont. Investigation determined that Spencer was traveling south on US-5 and failed to maintain his lane of travel, departing from the traveled portion of the roadway. The vehicle rolled over and ultimately came to an uncontrolled position of rest on its roof blocking the southbound lane of traffic. There were no injuries sustained as a result of the crash.

 

The Vermont State Police were assisted on scene by Guilford Fire Department and Rescue Inc. Brattleboro Towing & Recovery removed the vehicle from the roadway.
