SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:  On the above date and time, Vermont State Police dispatch received a report of a disturbance at a residence on Mill Brook Road in the Town of Putney, VT (Windham County).  Troopers responded and made contact with Chelsea Long, 25, and Stephen Robinson, 31, of Putney.  Investigation revealed Robinson had an active arrest warrant.  He was taken into custody and transported to Southern State Correctional Facility where he was lodged.  Long became distraught during the interaction with police and attacked a Trooper.  The Trooper did not sustain any injuries as a result.  Long was subsequently arrested for assault on a protected officer and resisting arrest.  She was issued a criminal citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Windham Criminal Division on 11/26/2024 at 0830 hours.  She was released to a family member after processing.
