SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On the above date and time, Troopers with the Vermont State Police - Royalton Barracks were on patrol when they observed a vehicle traveling southbound at a high rate of speed on interstate 89. Radar confirmed the vehicle's speed in excess of 120MPH in a posted 65MPH zone. The vehicle was stopped without incident. The operator, Seecharran Anirude, 45, was taken into custody and transported to the Royalton Barracks where he was issued a citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court - Criminal Division at the time and date listed below.
